What Year and City did you get your start in Radio? Weekend overnights back in 1996 in Erie, Pennsylvania. That turned into full time afternoons and a production director position at that station. It’s hard to believe that is the better part of 30 years ago now and I’ve enjoyed working in Buffalo, New York and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania along the way.
What are three hobbies you have? I enjoy downhill skiing and volunteer with the National Ski Patrol in the winter. We have a couple horses that I enjoy. It’s not exactly a hobby, but my young sons are active in sports and things. Keeping up with them is my greatest joy.
Where is your hometown? Right where I first got to take to the airwaves on the shores of the Great Lakes in Erie, Pennsylvania.
How would your family and friends describe your personality? I’m the quick witted guy next door. We’re into the same stuff. Maybe we have a beer together once in a while. I’m way into music and excited to tell you the story about the songs and what’s up with the artist we love.
Who is your favorite superhero? Danger Mouse! No, not the song writer, musician and producer, who is also fantastic, but I don’t think that’s what this question is asking. Danger Mouse, the greatest secret agent in the world. He is a secret agent so secret that even his codename has a codename. For those not in the know, he is headquartered in London where he lives in a red Royal Mail Post box with his hamster assistant Ernest Penfold.
One more thing about me? I love a BLT sandwich and a cold beer.
